Antiangiogenic Therapy Expert Panel (June 2001, San Francisco, CA USA)
The Angiogenesis Foundation convened an expert panel for clinical trials of antiangiogenic therapy in cancer in June 2001, in San Francisco, California. The charge of the panel was to review the data from clinical trials of antiangiogenic therapy in cancer and make recommendations for improving trial design and optimizing trial outcomes. The deliberations of this panel led to refinements in clinical trial design that are used for cancer drug development to this day.
