The Angiogenesis Foundation is a fast growing global health organization focused on preventing and treating non-communicable diseases (NCDs). We are looking for a talented individual who is seeking a creative career that can impact on millions of lives around the world. We are recruiting to fill a newly opened Management position. The Creative Program Manager for Science Media Content will drive the development, launch, and operations of national and global strategic initiatives including multimedia education, events, and awareness programs related to dietary prevention and medical interventions for cancer, aging, diabetes, and other major non-communicable diseases. The Angiogenesis Foundation is a member of the Clinton Global Initiative, has designed programs for the World Economic Forum, created two TED talks, and has a 20-year track record creating high quality content and events that benefit hundreds and thousands of lives, and guide the future of medicine and health.

We are seeking a capable, driven, high-level manager who can maintain the highest standards while meeting tight deadlines. Problem-solving skills and a sharp eye for detail will be as essential as tactical thinking, clear communication, and technical knowledge. Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, and a background and/or keen interest in science is a major plus. The Creative Program Manager for Science Media Content will work with diverse teams including scientists, media, facilitators, writers, and artists. Reporting to the executive team, the post-holder will be responsible for ensuring all project work is signed off by key stakeholders, any issues are resolved, and all feedback is incorporated.

Typical Activities:

  • Managing both small and large scale projects
  • Supporting and encouraging team members to maximize productivity and the development of skills
  • Ensuring projects stay within timescales and budget

  • Structuring projects and devising processes that ensure efficiency
  • Generating clear and succinct project reports, including outcomes
  • Engaging with creative teams and vendors to understand their tasks
  • Liaising with vendors and members of the creative team, to keep projects running smoothly
  • Presenting work to managers, partners, compliance, legal, and other stakeholders for sign-off

Oversee and/or contribute to the following types of projects:

  • Website creation and development
  • Media for print and digital publishing
  • Online education

  • Patient advocacy campaigns
  • Corporate events
  • Scientific symposia
  • Social media campaigns
  • Design and development of mobile apps

Skills Required:

  • Leadership and project management background, with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Positive, enthusiastic attitude towards work

  • Understanding of both technical and creative processes
  • Keen organizational skills
  • Resourcefulness in assembling teams to complete projects
  • Confidence to drive a team in order to get the best results for a project
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premier, Excel, and Word
